Greek Cooking Class
At 3:30 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chania and head to a local farm, ready to learn the secrets of Cretan gastronomy. Let's get to it!
As soon as we arrive, we'll be welcomed by the farmers and begin exploring the farm, located in the White Mountains, or the Lefka Ori. First, we'll check out the vegetable garden, where some of the most delicious products used in Greek dishes are harvested every day.
Aromatic herbs, olive oil, vegetables and dairy products are among the ingredients we will use. From the garden, we'll move on to the kitchen to start preparing different traditional Cretan recipes and learn how to cook like real locals.
Then, it'll be time to sit at the table to enjoy our delicious dinner! We'll have some appetizers, including ntakos, tzatziki and the famous kalitsounia cheese pies. And, of course, we'll accompany the dishes we've prepared with some tasty Greek wine.
After treating our taste buds to the delicious flavors of Greek cuisine, we'll say goodbye to the farm and return to your hotel in Chania. Return to your hotel is scheduled for around 10:30 pm.
