Château de Chambord Ticket

With this skip-the-line ticket to the Château de Chambord, you can explore the different rooms of this former royal residence at your leisure. This is one of the most stunning examples in the Loire Valley - with design from Leonardo da Vinci himself.

Inside we especially recommend visiting the rooms of Louis XIV, whose decoration bears the unmistakable, luxurious stamp of the “Sun King”. And not to forget the royal chapel, no less than two floors!

One of the most surprising places in the castle is the famous double helix staircase: which, although not officially proven, many historians attribute its design to da Vinci. And what makes them so special? You'll have to visit the Château de Chambord to find out!

The ticket also includes access to the castle's panoramic terrace: an exceptional viewpoint from which you can contemplate the beautiful gardens of Chambord. From the paths next to the castle moat, you'll enjoy stunning views, to photograph the beautiful Renaissance architecture of Chambord.

Special dates

Saturday, June 29, 2024, the castle will open 9 am - 6 pm. However, there will be a DJ David Guetta concert at the castle at night. Due to this event, from 1 pm the roads around the castle will be closed. There will be redirections and it won't be possible to stop or park around the roads around the castle. Therefore, we recommend visiting in the morning on this day.

Monday, July 8, 2024, the Olympic Flame will pass through Chambord. Therefore, on this day, the castle will close at 4 pm (final entry at 3 pm). Please be aware that we expect to see traffic problems between Thoury and Chambord around midday.

Skip The Line

If you book this ticket you'll avoid the lines that tend to form at the ticket offices. Nonetheless, you'll have to wait in line at the monument itself, where security may take a few minutes.
