On this boat excursion from Ceiba, we'll travel to Culebra, an island paradise of turquoise waters and white sandy beaches, where we'll go snorkeling to enjoy its beautiful marine life.
Snorkeling Aquafari on Isla Culebra
At the appointed time, we'll meet at the Ceiba Ferry Terminal, where we'll take a boat to the island of Culebra, soaking up the incredible views along the way.
We'll arrive at Playa Tamarindo, a beach on the western end of the island. We'll head toward the Luis Peña Channel, the most important marine reserve in Puerto Rico. You'll be able to explore its beautiful seabed up close. You'll likely see sea turtles, as they usually feed on the island's reefs.
After having some snacks and refreshments in the open sea, we'll leave the reserve. As make our way back, we'll review the peculiar history of Culebra and discover why its coasts are home to such wild ecosystems.
Next, we reach Playa Flamenco, a famous bay with white sands and turquoise waters, where you'll also have time to go snorkeling.
Finally, we'll head back to Playa Tamarindo and get back on the ferry. After seven hours of activity, we'll have returned to the starting point in Ceiba.
