Segway Tour of Cefalù
At your selected time, we'll meet at the Lungomare Giuseppe Giardina, next to the Riva del Sole Hotel. Here we'll get ready for our segway tour of Cefalù, a town famous for its spas, which receive thousands of tourists every year.
After familiarising ourselves with how to use the segways, the itinerary will start in the historical centre of Cefalù. Did you know that this city has been occupied by Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs and Christians? A real melting pot of cultures!
Some of the monuments that we'll see during the tour, such as the Palace of Osterio Magno and the Duomo, a Romanesque temple with Byzantine decorations, are incredibly well-preserved from the different eras of Cefalù's history. We'll take advantage of our comfortable segways to go up to the Cape Marchiafava Bastion, from where we'll enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the coast.
We'll continue touring the squares and avenues of Cefalù until we reach the Old Harbour. Here you'll find the Fishermen's Gate and the Mandralisca Museum, which houses a portrait of the famous painter Antonello da Messina.
We'll take the promenade again to end this segway tour of Cefalù with an unforgettable view of the beaches. Finally, we'll return to the starting point three hours after the beginning of the tour.
