Lipari and Vulcano Day Trip
Description
At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from the meeting point in Cefalu and head by bus to the Milazzo Port. Once here, we'll board a boat and sail for around an hour to the Aeolian Archipelago, near the northeastern coast of Sicily.
The legendary islands, the setting of many famous myths, are declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. We'll disembark in Lipari, the biggest of the two. You'll have 2.5 hours of free time to explore and walk around the Marina Corta, Piazza Ugo di Sant’Onofrio Square and the Lipari Castle, where the archaeological museum can be found.
Then, we'll continue to Vulcano, where we'll give you another 2.5 hours of free time. Here, you can enjoy walking around its craters, take a dip in its mud pools, admire its coast and try some of the local cuisine.
Finally, we'll return to the boat to sail back to the Milazzo Port, where the bus will pick you up to take you back to the initial meeting point. We expect to be back in Cefalu 12 hours after initial pickup.
