Canchos de Ramiro Boat Trip
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Ceclavín jetty and board a boat for a pleasant trip along the Canchos de Ramiro. Time to set sail!
For two and a half hours, we'll enjoy sailing through this area in the province of Cáceres while watching the flight of the griffon vultures and storks, a real spectacle of nature! Did you know that during nesting periods it's forbidden to cross these waters?
Following the course of the Tagus, we'll reach the point where the rivers Alagón and Árrago converge and before our eyes will appear "the giant of giants": the Canchos de Ramiro. Its original structure in the shape of a canyon and the surrounding landscape of pastureland make this place stand out!
Fom the boat we'll see the Roman bridge of Alcántara, which was built with the aim of saving the course of the Tagus river and which was said to "last until the end of the world".
Finally, we'll return to the departure pier and, once on dry land, we'll end the activity after a total of 2.5 hours.
