Spend the day exploring an underwater paradise when you take this fantastic snorkeling trip in Caye Caulker. You will swim among beautiful corals, wonderful giant turtles, and terrifying sharks!
Snorkeling in Cayo Corker
We'll meet up at 9 am on Hattie Street in Caye Caulker where we grab out snorkel equipment and board the boat. After a 45-minute crossing, we'll arrive at Hol Chan Marine Reserve. You will learn just why this idyllic area earned the name which means "little channel".
Then its time to jump into the water and snorkel in the crystal clear waters of Hol Chan. For about 40 minutes we will swim among the coral reefs and the seagrass meadows, encountering a variety of exotic fish!
We then return to the boat and sail to Shark Ray Alley, the second place we will snorkel. For about an hour, we will swim alongside catsharks and giant turtles. Afterward, back on board, we will enjoy a delicious lunch consisting of rice, beans, and rum punch.
Then our journey continues on to the Coral Gardens, where we stop to admire the different shapes and colors. We will sail around the reserve Chato Park where, if we are lucky, we will see some magnificent manatees.
At 4 pm, we will be back at the starting point where the activity concludes.
