We'll pick you up at your hotel in Caxias do Sul at the indicated time to start this tour through the history of Italian immigration in this city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
During the visit, we'll learn about the arrival of Italian immigrants coming from the regions of Lombardy, Veneto or Tyrol during the second half of the 17th century, and how they formed the first colonies.
We'll learn about the history of the Italian settlers in places as outstanding as the Galópolis neighbourhood or the Território Museum, located in the open air and where it's possible to see old constructions and learn about the figure of the Italian Hercules Galló.
Our next stop will be the grotto of Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, located on the famous Estrada do Imigrante and surrounded by a fabulous natural environment. Afterwards, we'll visit the Bonnet Museum, where we'll see furniture and tools of that time.
After lunch we'll visit the National Museum of the Immigrant, inaugurated in 1954, where we'll learn about the settlers' journey to Brazil.
Finally, we'll conclude the tour by taking you back to your hotel, where we'll arrive six hours after pickup.
