Day Trip to Fortaleza & Itaimbezinho Canyons
We'll pick you up at 6:30 am at your hotel in Caxias do Sul and head out to Cambará do Sul, where you'll be able to buy some breakfast if you wish.
After eating, we'll travel in a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle to the breathtaking Fortaleza Canyon. There we'll take a walk to the Pedra do Segredo viewpoint, where we'll have a magnificent view of the gorge. This gorge is considered one of the most spectacular in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul.
We'll then head to one of the restaurants in the area for a tasty lunch. Then, we'll continue our tour of the region visiting the amazing scenery of another gorge in the area: the Itaimbezinho Canyon awaits us!
We'll discover this unique gorge by hiking the Cotobelo trail. On this 3-hour, low-difficulty hike, you'll be amazed by the beauty of the scenery. We'll also do a short hike on the Vértice trail, which will take about 30 minutes.
Finally, from the Itaimbezinho canyon we'll return to your hotel in Caxias do Sul, where we'll arrive at 6 pm.
