Ana Rech Neighbourhood Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Caxias do Sul and head to the Ana Rech neighbourhood, a woman who completely changed the history of immigration in the Brazilian city.
First of all, we'll go to the Immigrant's Epic exhibition, where we'll learn all about the history of Italian immigration in Rio Grande do Sul - it will be like a trip back in time!
Near this museum, we'll find Pedavena Square, in the heart of the Ana Rech neighbourhood. There, we'll discover the story of a very special woman. Ana Rech was an Italian immigrant who founded this district of Caxias do Sul at the beginning of the 20th century. Her story will inspire you as we pass through the area full of artisanal local shops.
Another of the neighbourhood's attractions is the permanent nativity scene, as well as the small crib made of cork, one of the most visited places in town. To complete this tour of the Ana Rech neighbourhood, we'll visit the Barlavento theme bar - did you know that it has its own strawberry plantation? You'll have an hour of free time to have a drink in the bar or to explore the surrounding area.
At the agreed time we'll meet again and take you back to your hotel, where the tour will end at 3 pm.
