Tubing on the Almas River
Tubing on the Almas River
To kick off our Brazilian adventure, we'll meet up at the time you select on the bridge over the Almas river, located in the outskirts of Cavalcante. Here, we'll greet each other and the instructor will briefly explain some safety guidelines.
Next, we'll strap on our helmets and life jackets, and grab the rest of the tubing equipment. Once ready, we'll start our float down the Almas River on large inflatable innertubes.
During the descent, which covers approximately 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles), we'll overcome no less than four rapids. This river adventure will also allow us to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Goiás region of Brazil.
We'll conclude the tubing activity on the Almas River at Ese beach. There we'll rest and replenish our strength with a picnic lunch that includes a sandwich of pulled pork and cheese, a slice of cake, fruit juice, and coffee.
Finally, after two hours of pure fun in a beautiful natural enclave, we'll walk back to the meeting point.
