Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Catania at the designated time to kick off this day trip to Noto, Ragusa, and Modica. Are you ready to travel back in time and discover the Sicilian Baroque

Our first stop will be Noto, nicknamed "The Stone Garden" due to the harmony and beauty of its Baroque buildings. Strolling along its streets, you'll be in awe by the majestic Church of St Nicholas or Noto Cathedral, and the beauty of the Church of San Domenico, two prime examples of the 18th-century architecture that make this city a Baroque gem worldwide.

After seeing some of the points of interest in this wonderful Sicilian city, we'll head to Ibla, the most historic and charming part of the old town of Ragusa. Here, you'll admire the elegant facade of San Giuseppe and the evocative Chiesa del Purgatorio, both located in an urban setting filled with stairways, alleys, and incredible views.

We'll then set off to Modica, famous not only because of its churches but also because of its culinary tradition. You'll surely be amazed by the spectacular Duomo of San Giorgio! Here, you'll have free time to explore the town's charming streets and grab a bite to eat.

Finally, as Modica is known for its chocolate, we'll visit some of its most popular chocolate stores, where the famous chocolate of Aztec origin is made, a unique delicacy.

After 8 hours, we'll conclude the day trip by dropping you off at your hotel.
