Discover the most important native Chilean forest by visiting Tepuhueico Park. You can hike and learn about the great variety of flora and fauna.
Why visit Tepuhueico Park?
Located right in the heart of the Grande de Chiloé Island, Tepuhueico Park is one of the most important native Chilean forests, centred around the conversation of flora, fauna and wild mushrooms in the area. Are you ready to visit this 20,000-hectare (49,421-acre) space? This place is perfect for those who love nature!
With your ticket, you'll be able to hike around the two sections that make up the Tepuhueico Park, the forest area and the coastal area, whose trails extend more than 10 kilometres (6.2 miles). Along these trails, you can explore the dense forests, as well as the Bravo River, as well as admire the waterfalls, cliffs and dunes.
At well as this, the park is home to a great variety of animals, including an almost infinite number of birds such as the kingfisher, the chucao, the royal woodpecker, as well as the Chiloé fox, the pudu, as well as some dolphins and whales at the coast.
Opening Times
The Tepuhueico Park is open every day of the week from 9 am to 6:30 pm. Please keep in mind that these opening times are flexible and are subject to change.
