Options

When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the following electric bike tours from Castro. All of them include transfers and a support vehicle. Depending on the option you choose, they may or may not include a guide:

Quinchao Island guided tour (8-9 hours)

We'll pick you up at 9 am at your hotel in Castro and take you to the Dalcahue pier, where we'll take a boat to Quinchao Island. Once there, we'll set off on a 25-kilometer (15.5-mile) electric bike tour.

We'll start the route by going to the Changuitad viewpoint, where we'll enjoy the views while we snack on a cereal bar and a piece of fruit. The next stop will take place in Curaco de Vélez, a beautiful town where we'll admire the birds of its wetlands and visit its typical Chiloé church.

In Curaco, we'll also stop at the restaurant Ostras Los Troncos to taste its star product. If you don't like oysters, we'll offer you a picnic as an alternative. After lunch, the tour of Quinchao will continue to the towns of Chullec and Achao, where we'll have a sandwich and a drink.

Finally, we'll cycle back to the north of Quinchao to take the ferry to Dalcahue, and from there we'll return by road to your hotel in Castro.

Quinchao Island self-guided tour (8-9 hours)

After picking you up at 9 am at your hotel in Castro, we'll take you to the Dalcahue pier to catch the ferry to Quinchao Island. Once there, you can enjoy the cycling route at your own pace, pedaling through Curaco de Velez, Chullec, and other emblematic spots.

In this case, you'll enjoy the oyster tasting on your own, the price of which ranges between CL$ 3,000 (US$ 3.23) and CL$ 5,000 (US$ 5.38).

You'll have to conclude the route in Achao, and from there we'll transfer you to the north pier of Quinchao Island to take the ferry back to Dalcahue. From Dalcahue we'll take you to your hotel in Castro.

Lemuy Island guided tour (10-11 hours)

At 8:30 am we'll depart from your hotel in Castro to the Huicha dock, where we'll take the ferry to Chulchuy. After disembarking at this point of Lemuy Island, we'll start a low-difficulty electric bike route covering 28 kilometers (17 miles).

The first stop will be at the Church of Ichuac. We'll pause for a cereal bar and a piece of fruit and continue to the Muelle de los Brujos. From there we'll follow the route to the town of Puqueldón, where we'll have a picnic lunch. The electric bike route will continue to Parque Yayanes and Aldachildo, which stands out for its beautiful wooden Chiloé church.

Finally, we'll return to the pier of Chulchuy to take the ferry to Huicha. From this point, we'll transfer you to your hotel in Castro.

Lemuy Island self-guided tour (10-11 hours)

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Castro and take you to the pier in Huicha. There you'll take the ferry to Lemuy Island, where you'll enjoy cycling at your own pace.

The Muelle de Los Brujos, Parque Yayanes, and the extraordinary nature of Chiloé are some of the island's great attractions. Durinig the route you'll have to pay the entrance fee to the pier: CL$ 2,000 (US$ 2.15) per person; you'll also have to pay for access to Parque Yayanes: CL$ 2,000 (US$ 2.15) per person.

You'll have to finish the route in Aldachildo, where we'll pick you up to take you to the pier of Chulchuy. At this embarkation point you'll take the ferry to Huicha, and from there we'll transfer you to your hotel in Castro.

Rilán guided tour (8-9 hours)

After picking you up at 9 am at your hotel in Castro, we'll depart to the Rilán peninsula, where we'll start a 30-kilometer (18.6-mile) cycling route of low difficulty. We'll cycle first to the village of Rilán, where we'll visit its wooden church. We'll then have a light snack and continue to the viewpoints of Quel Quel and Tutil.

The cycling route then continues to the Yutuy wetlands and, after admiring the scenery, we'll stop at a local restaurant for a typical Chiloé dish. Finally, from the Rilán peninsula, we'll return by road to your accommodation in Castro.

Rilán self-guided tour (8-9 hours)

From your hotel in Castro, we'll take you to the Rilán peninsula, where you'll set off on a cycling tour on your own. The viewpoints of Quel Quel and Tutil will leave you speechless!

As an added bonus during the tour, you can enjoy a delicious lunch for CL$ 15,000 (US$ 16.15).

Finally, we'll pick you up on the Rilán peninsula and take you back to your hotel in Castro.

Queilen guided tour (10-11 hours)

We'll leave at 8:30 am from your hotel in Castro to the vicinity of the Queilen peninsula. In this case, the electric bike route will be of low difficulty and cover 21 kilometers (13 miles). First, we'll go to the town of Lelbún, and from there we'll continue pedaling to the Church of Aituy.

After a light snack, we'll cycle across the Yaituy Bridge to the picturesque town of Queilen. There we'll enjoy a boat ride to see dolphins and native penguins. The trip also includes a seafood and oyster tasting on board.

Upon disembarking at the port of Queilen, we'll have a coffee and a slice of cake and finally, return by road to your accommodation in Castro.
