Very interesting, Carlos is an excellent guide. I had a little vertigo problem. And I would support the proposal to channel the underground tunnel from the fountains, and fix the patio. And the architect of the courtyard and battlements will forgive me, but the decoration is exhausting and horrifying, you can't see the castle walls...we're wanting to see the castle. I don't like to mix modern art with historical buildings.

Castillo de Garcimuñoz Castle Ticket

Castillo de Garcimuñoz Castle is a fortress located in Castillo de Garcimuñoz, at the top of a hill looking out to protect the town from invaders. Its first owner was Garcimuñoz, a knight who accompanied King Alfonso VIII in his conquest of Cuenca in the 12th century. It later passed into the hands of Prince Don Juan Manuel. It was reconstructed in the 15th century by the Marquis of Villena, and it now represents the way the Arabic, Jewish and Christian cultures harmoniously live in the province of Cuenca

The structure of the castle has been maintained perfectly, despite the inside deterioration. You’ll be able to explore the castle at your own leisure and find out all about its history and secrets thanks to an audio-guide in English.

Not only that, but from the castle you’ll be able to admire wonderful views of the stately homes, the Agustinos convent and the San Juan Bautista church.
