Badlands Hiking Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Nuestra Señora del Rosario service station in Castilléjar. From here, we'll begin a journey that will lead us to discover the curious natural landscape that surrounds this town. 

This hiking route through the Badlands of Castilléjar will allow you to experience a truly amazing landscape. During the hike, you'll see deep canyons, ravines and gullies carved into the rock by wind and rain. Did you know that this landscape began to form three million years ago? We'll tell you all about it on the tour!

As we walk between the municipalities of Castilléjar and Galer, we'll reveal what characteristics this place shares with the famed Grand Canyon of Colorado. You'll even ascend to the ridge of one of the formations! We'll also come across a traditional gypsum oven and learn about the minerals present in the region.

After four and a half hours of hiking, we'll return to the starting point, where the tour will come to an end.
