Want to explore the most famous caves in the Province of Castellón? Enjoy these amazing underground landscapes on this tour of the San José Caves on a boat.
Description
At the time indicated, we'll meet at the Tourist Office in Castellón and head south in the Province, to the town of Vall de Uxó.
Once in this town, at the foot of the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park, we'll start a visita guided tour of the San José Caves. Did you know that these caves keep a constant temperature of 20ºC (68ºF) all year round? We'll explore these caves by foot for 255 metres (835 feet).
Then, we'll take a boat on the largest underground river in Europe. As we sail down this 800-metre (2625-foot) stretch of water, we'll admire the different rocks on the cave walls that compose the geology of the caves. Plus, we'll tell you lots of facts about these caves.
After visiting the caves, we'll go to the Calzados Segarra museum-shop, which is the oldest shoe company in Spain. It dates back to 1882!
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Castellón after a total of 5 hours.
