At the indicated time, we'll set sail from the Cascais Marina in a speedboat. This Portuguese town, located just 30 kilometres (18.6 miles) from the centre of Lisbon, is home to a marine ecosystem of great biodiversity. Let's go discover it!
We'll sail south for an unforgettable dolphin watching experience in Cascais. As we sail along the coasts of the town, we'll try to spot the friendly animals that live in this area of the Atlantic Ocean, next to the mouth of the Tagus River.
The sighting of these marine mammals will take place from a safe distance, so that we can observe them from the boat without disturbing their habitat. In addition, during the trip, we'll discover some fun facts about the dolphins.
While we sail, you'll also enjoy beautiful panoramic views of different iconic places along the Cascais coastline. Among them, the Pedra da Nau, the cliffs of Boca do Inferno or the Guía lighthouse stand out.
Finally, we'll conclude this 2-hour trip by returning to the departure pier.
