Calling all cheese lovers! Come on a guided tour of the Doña Francisca cheese factory, discover the production processes of artisanal cheeses and even try them for yourself!

Cheese Factory Tour & Tasting

We'll meet at 11 am at the main entrance to the Doña Francisca cheese factory, before setting off on our tour to learn all about the production processes that go on here. We'll explore the milk rooms as well as the maturation and shipping areas.

The Doña Francisca factory even produces artisanal cheeses such as the famous Torta del Casa, which has the prestigious DOP stamp (Protected Designation of Origin). We'll discover the origin of this delicacy, which has become a symbol of the province of Caceres. The Torta "Virgen del Prado", recently named the third-best cheese in the world, is also made here!

After the tour, we'll head to the tasting room. Are you ready to taste 10 different kinds of cheese? We'll learn to distinguish their different tastes, aromas and textures. What's more, the cheese tasting will be accompanied by a glass of wine from the region (or with mineral water, if you prefer).

The activity will end at 12:30 pm.

La visita fue de diez, interesante y buenas explicaciones recorriendo las instalaciones. La cata estupenda con quesos espectaculares. Después puedes comprar sus productos en la tienda que estan buenísimos. Recomendable cien por cien, sobre todo para amantes del queso.
