Between 7.30 and 9 am, we'll meet at your hotel in Cartagena de Indias to board the minibus that will take us to the Vivarium del Caribe Park.
For the past five years, this park aims to raise awareness of the evolution of species through the conservation and care of Colombian fauna.
During this three-and-a-half-hour tour through the Vivarium del Caribe, we'll see different animals such as crocodiles, reptiles, fish, and invertebrates in their natural habitat. These species will allow us to learn how they evolve in different environments and how they have changed over time.
If you have trouble picturing what primitive wildlife looked like, don't worry. The park has an exhibition of life-like recreations in cement that'll give us the chance to learn more about the evolution process that crocodiles and birds have gone through since the time of the dinosaurs.
After learning everything about the evolution, we'll return to your hotel in Cartagena de Indias, arriving approximately at 3.30 pm.
Hotel pick up
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cartagena de Indias. Times vary according to your location:
- City center: 7.30 am.
- Bocagrande, Castillogrande, and Laguito: between 8 and 8.30 am.
- La Boquilla, Crespo and north area: 9 am.
If you are not staying in any of these locations, you will have to make your own way to the Camellón de Los Mártires.
