Múcura Island Excursion
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Cartagena de Indias and from there we'll head for Múcura Island. Let's go!
In the middle of the San Bernardo archipelago, this coral island is considered by many to be the best in the Colombian Caribbean. White sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, almost untouched nature... You're about to see if it's true!
After a 2-hour bus ride, we'll arrive in Tolú, where we'll take a panoramic tour of Tintipán Island and the islet of Santa Cruz. We'll cruise the waters in a speedboat for 45 minutes while enjoying the scenery created by the group of islands and the coral reefs that surround them.
Once on Múcura Island, you'll have free time to explore the island on your own, swim in the warm waters, relax in the sun and investigate the flora and fauna that inhabit Múcura. At midday, you'll enjoy a delicious typical lunch of fish or chicken, whichever you prefer—your mouth will be watering!
Approximately 2.5 hours after lunch, we'll start our way back to the starting point, where we'll arrive after 12 hours of hiking.
Speedboat to Múcura Island
Do you want to go directly by speedboat from Cartagena de Indias? In that case, this option will take you directly to Múcura Island by speedboat. This option does not include land transport to Tolú, but will be a direct sea crossing to Múcura with a 1-hour stop at Tintipán Island. The rest of the activity will be as the itinerary described above.
Pickup
This activity includes pickup from hotels located in the areas of Bocagrande, Laguito and Castillogrande. If you're staying outside these areas, we'll pick you up at the following meeting point: Pegasos pier.
