Islabela Island Day Trip
Day Trip Details
Meet us at the Bodeguita Tourist dock, where we'll leave Cartagena behind and set off on a speedboat toward the Islas del Rosario archipelago!
Following a 45-minute sailing trip, we'll arrive at the islet to find Islabela. Upon arriving at this Caribbean tourist resort, we'll welcome you with a refreshing, non-alcoholic welcome drink. With your drink in hand, you can relax beachside on your assigned sunbed.
Here, you'll have an hour of free time to take in the unparalleled coastal views. Then, we'll return to the speedboat to navigate over to the Rosario Islands Oceanarium. Admission tickets are not included in the trip, but this optional activity is well worth the visit, as you'll get to see over 140 endangered species of Caribbean flora and fauna. Let's see if we can make some friends with the tropical fish and sea turtles that live among the coral reefs!
As we wrap up our optional guided visit to the Oceanarium, we'll sail back to Islabela. Returning to the island, you'll have free time to go snorkeling or kayaking. Or maybe you want a more relaxing experience instead and enjoy a yoga class available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Once you finish the activity you selected, it's time to refuel at Islabela Restaurant. The lunch menu features a main dish of either fried fish, grilled chicken, or a vegetarian option for adults, or chicken nuggets, fish, or pasta with vegetables for children.
Then, after enjoying lunch, we'll relax a few minutes more before finally hopping back in the speedboat and returning to the meeting point. After 7 hours of paradisical relaxation and fun, we'll arrive back at Bodeguita dock.
