Whale Watching in Cape Town
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and start our drive along Cape Town's coastline via Gordon's Bay to Hermanus, one of the best whale-watching spots in the world. Ready for some whale-watching?
On the way, we'll drive along the legendary Clarence Drive and stop at the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens to stroll through the endemic vegetation. We'll look out over the ocean to watch these large mammals, undoubtedly the most popular inhabitants of Cape Town's waters, swim by.
We'll then arrive in Hermanus, a popular town for spotting marine life. From its lookout point, we'll have a close-up view of the whales. After this stop, we'll take a scenic drive through the Hamilton Russel Vineyards as we make our way to Gansbaai Harbour, another strategic point where we'll have lunch while watching the whales from land.
Afterwards, we'll have the opportunity to get on a boat to watch the whales play in the waves and jump out of the water. This will undoubtedly be one of the most special moments of the excursion.
As we return to the city via Elgin and Sir Lowry's Pass, we'll enjoy panoramic views of Cape Town's coastline. Finally, we'll escort you back to your accommodation to conclude the tour after 9 hours.
