Stellenbosch Private Vineyard Tour
Stellenbosch Private Vineyard Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cape Town at the agreed time and head east towards Stellenbosch, the country's largest wine-growing region. During the drive, which takes about 50 minutes, we'll admire the scenery along this wine route, where the vineyards blend into the high mountains of South Africa - a very charming drive!
We'll arrive in Stellenbosch and learn about the winemaking tradition of this town, the second settlement of European settlers after Cape Town. We'll find out all about the importance of wine due to this settlement, and what types of wine are produced in Stellenbosch. You'll also discover details about this precious product during a visit to one of the best wineries in the region.
During the visit, you'll be able to taste these delicious wines on your own and discover the nuances of Pinotage, the local product par excellence. We'll leave the winery to continue our tour around Stellenbosch. We'll visit Franschhoek, one of the oldest towns in South Africa and also famous for its wine tradition.
In addition, on our tour through the region, we'll find wildlife reserves which we'll give you the option to meet the cheetahs, crocodiles or birds that live in these reserves.
Finally, we'll return to Cape Town and go back to the hotels with a camera full of pictures of the South African vineyards.
