Horse Polo Experience at Estancia Villa María
Play Polo in Argentina
This unique blend of sport and nature unfolds at Estancia Villa María, originally constructed as a summer retreat for the Pereda family in 1927. Nestled on the outskirts of Cañuelas, the estate boasts a country house and a botanical garden featuring over 300 tree species designed by the acclaimed landscape designer Benito Carrasco.
Your experience will begin with a polo lesson. Discover why Argentina is considered the best in the world at this equestrian activity. Accompanied by skilled horsemen, you'll receive hands-on instruction while learning how to play in a match where two teams of four players navigate the field, hitting a ball with mallets.
The class covers the sport's history, game fundamentals, rules, and Argentina's significant role in global polo. Gain insights into the horses used and uncover fascinating details about their selection, breeding, and training.
After the lesson, partake in a polo match alongside professional players, providing you with firsthand experience at Estancia Villa María!
