Arrival Day: Cancun

Upon your arrival at Cancun airport, we'll be there to greet you and transport you to the hotel where you'll spend the first night. After checking in, the evening is free for you to explore and have dinner. See you tomorrow!

Day 2: Cancun - Tulum - Bacalar - Chetumal

Begin the day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before heading to Tulum. This ancient archaeological site, founded in the 6th century during the Maya Empire, offers a stunning view from its perch on the edge of a white sandy beach. Explore the city surrounded by defensive walls and cliffs protecting the seafront.

Following the Tulum visit, enjoy a lunch of grilled fish in a charming thatched hut. In the afternoon, our journey continues to Chetumal, with a stop at Bacalar along the way. Known as the Lagoon of the Seven Colors, Bacalar boasts the famous Cenote Azul—a must-see with crystal-clear waters perfect for a refreshing dip.

Concluding our day, we reach Chetumal, where you'll have time to wander the streets of this ancient Maya port before dinner and a relaxing night at the hotel.

Day 3: Chetumal - Kohunlich - Palenque

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a journey to Kohunlich. Explore this ancient Maya city and ceremonial center nestled in the heart of the jungle, offering a unique and captivating experience. Take a leisurely stroll through lush vegetation, where you may encounter monkeys and other wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for these fascinating creatures! Recharge with a delightful lunch at an old ranch, savoring delicious grilled meat.

Conclude the day by arriving in Palenque for dinner, then we'll go to the accommodation to rest.

Day 4: Palenque - Agua Azul - Palenque

After a delicious breakfast, we'll bid farewell to Palenque and venture towards the enchanting Agua Azul waterfalls. We'll revel in the beauty of these cascades, considered among the most beautiful waterfalls in Mexico. Dive into the crystal-clear waters formed by the Otulún, Shumuljá, and Tulijá rivers for a refreshing swim.

Then, we'll have a meal of grilled fish by the waterfalls. Following this aquatic escapade, we'll return to Palenque to explore its archaeological site. We'll embark on a guided tour to discover impressive structures like the Temple of the Inscriptions and the Temple of the Sun.

We'll wrap up the day at a Mexican restaurant, where you'll enjoy a delightful dinner. Following this memorable day, you'll be transported to your hotel.

Day 5: Palenque - Campeche

We'll start the day with breakfast at the hotel as we head toward the Gulf of Mexico. Our first stop will be in Champotón, where you can observe pelicans and enjoy a refreshing swim.

Following a delightful seaside lunch, we'll continue our journey to Campeche, a captivating port and fortified city designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll take a guided tour to explore its baroque colonial buildings, the renowned Malecon, and the impressive San Miguel Fort. Afterward, we'll enjoy dinner and unwind at the hotel for the night.

Day 6: Campeche - Celestun - Merida

On day six, we'll wake up and savor a delicious breakfast before hitting the road. We'll make a brief stop at a Maya cemetery in Pomuch, featuring brightly colored and decorated tombs. Next, we'll explore Bécal, renowned for its hats made from Jipijapa leaves, as we visit an artisan workshop to witness the hat-making process.

Our journey will then take us to Celestún, a charming fishing village on the Gulf of Mexico. We'll set off on a boat ride to admire the diverse aquatic birdlife, including over 18,000 flamingos. We'll explore the mangroves and freshwater springs, and enjoy lunch by the sea, including delicious ceviche.

Continuing to Merida, the capital of Yucatan, known as the White City, we'll discover its highlights like the San Ildefonso Cathedral and Plaza de Armas. We'll explore the covered market, offering items made from henequen fiber, including hammocks, embroidery, jewelry, and fabrics. We'll conclude the day at the hotel after a delightful dinner.

Day 7: Merida - Uxmal - Chichen Itza

We'll start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before heading to the massive archaeological site of Uxmal, a key site in Maya culture. We'll explore its remarkable structures, such as the Governor's Palace and the unique Pyramid of the Soothsayer, showcasing the distinctive Puuc style. Delve into the cultural richness of this site!

Following the visit, we'll visit a family's private home in the Maya community, where you'll savor a traditional chicken-based dish. After a satisfying meal, we'll journey to a cenote for a refreshing swim. Post-dip, we'll head to the Chichén Itzá hotel for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 8: Chichen Itza - Cancun

On the last day, we'll enjoy the final breakfast of the tour and then embark on a journey to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World: the Chichén Itzá archaeological site. We'll explore its main monuments, including the iconic Kukulkan pyramid, the Mesoamerican ball game, the Ossuary, and the Temple of Venus. We'll also discover the sacred cenote, a vast natural well that measures 20 meters (66 feet) deep.

After the visit, you'll have free time for lunch before returning to Cancun. We'll ensure you reach the airport in time for your flight. Until next time!
