If you're passionate about the ecosystems that exist under the earth's surface, you can't miss out on this snorkeling experience at MUSA Cancun. You'll dive around an underwater exhibit that is unique in the world.
Description
When making your reservation, you can choose between two heavenly snorkeling locations at the MUSA (Museo Subacuático del Arte, or Underwater Museum of Art) in Cancun. Both options meet at Kukulcan Boulevard and include boat transportation to the snorkeling area, English-speaking instructors, and snorkeling equipment. Below, you can see each option:
MUSA & Punta Nizuc Snorkeling Tour (3 hours)
We'll hop on a boat to cross the Nichupte lagoon until we reach a marine platform at Punta Nizuc. There we'll hand you the snorkeling equipment to dive into the water and enjoy the amazing reefs full of lobsters, barracudas, groupers, and manta rays.
Part of the MUSA exhibition is located in this area, where we can see up to 16 sculptures from this underwater gallery, such as La Jardinera de la Esperanza or La Última Cena, and watch the corals that have been created on top of these unique works of art!
This tour departs every day of the week at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.
MUSA & Manchones Reef Snorkeling Tour (4.5 hours)
This option will go to Manchones Reef, next to Isla Mujeres. As soon as we arrive, we'll put on our snorkel gear to admire its turtles, sponges, stars, cucumbers, and more than 35 species of scleractinian corals.
Also, in this area, you'll be able to see the sculptures of the Underwater Museum of Art. We'll swim around the most famous ones, such as The Silent Evolution, Burning Man, or The Promise - this experience will leave you speechless!
This tour is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8 am.
