Description
We'll pick you up from your Cancun hotel at the designated time. From there, we'll embark on a two-and-a-half-hour journey by minibus to Chococacao Maya—a perfect destination to uncover the secrets of Mexican chocolate and its profound ties to pre-Hispanic culture.
Upon reaching our first destination of the day, we'll partake in a Maya ceremony conducted by a shaman. Following this, we'll begin our exploration of the various sections at Chococacao Maya.
During your visit, you'll have the chance to engage in a cocoa workshop, create natural soaps at the honey sanctuary, explore the history of these lands through an exhibition, and even visit the ruins of an ancient road that once linked this area to Chichén Itzá.
Also, at Chococacao Maya's restaurant, you'll savor a delectable lunch throughout the day. The menu features a main dish that harmoniously blends the flavors of cocoa and honey with tender chicken, served alongside a side of fragrant white rice.
Before concluding your visit to Chococacao Maya, take some time to rejuvenate your body and soul at the enchanting Kaab Ha cenote. Its crystal-clear turquoise waters and lush jungle setting will undoubtedly captivate you from the very first moment.
The next stop is Tulum! We'll provide you with two hours of free time to explore this ancient Maya city at your own pace. You can wander among its majestic temples and take in breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.
After a fulfilling 10-hour excursion, we'll bring the activity to a close and return you to your Cancun hotel.
