Trip Details

Day 1: Xunáan Cenote - Chichén Itzá - Valladolid

After picking you up from your hotel in Cancun, and at 8.30 am we'll head to the Xunáan Cenote, located 2 hours' drive away. We'll enjoy a refreshing swim in this enchanting natural pool, before being treated to a delicious buffet lunch, featuring traditional Yucatan dishes, to refuel – the perfect start to our tour!

The next stop of the day will be the Chichén Itzá archaeological site, where we'll embark on a two-hour guided tour of the ancient Mayan city's most important monuments: the Kukulcán pyramid, the Temple of the Warriors, the sacrificial altar and much more.

Having learned all about the incredible secrets of the Mayans, we'll make our way to the nearby city of Valladolid. Here, we'll discover the charms of its central plaza, home to the San Servacio Church, and admire the architecture of the Palacio Municipal, before making the journey back to the hotel in Cancun at around 8:30 pm.

Day 2: Tulum - Cenote Nohoch

On the morning of day 2, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our 2-hour drive along the coast of the Riviera Maya in the direction of the Tulum archaeological site.

Arriving at the impressive ancient citadel, located amongst lush jungle on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea, we'll begin a 2-hour guided tour of Tulum. We'll admire the spectacular views and explore its most important construction, The Castle, which was used as a lighthouse to guide sailors along the coast.

Afterwards, we'll visit the beautiful Cenote Nohoch, where you'll have an hour of free time to cool off with a dip in the water and to buy lunch. You'll feel like you're in paradise! Then at the end of the 2-day tour, we'll head back to the hotel, where you'll be dropped off between 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm.

Sergio, el guía del primer día me pareció excelente. El tour fue todo lo esperado, la comida cacera cocinada por familias mayas deliciosa y el cenote espectacular. El segundo día el tour a Tulum dejó mucho que desear, sobre todo porque la playa estaba cerrada por la presencia de un alga. El guia Tomas muy bueno y sin duda lo que salvó el día fue el cenote ya que nos llevaron nadando por una cueva donde había murciélagos, estalactitas y otros bichos, en mi opinión lo mejor de ambos tours. Hice las excursiones de 2 días. Día 1: hermoso el cenote, la recomendación de la guía fue espectacular ya que pude estar prácticamente sola nadando unos 45 min en el cenote. Agregaría más tiempo en Valladolid, me pareció hermoso y solo estuvimos 30min. Día 2: Tulum es hermoso. La guía Mari una genia. Me tocó recorrer con gente que solo hablaba inglés pero Mari me dijo que me quede al lado así me traducía en español todo. Una verdadera GENIA. La visita al cenote también muy bien. I did the 2-day excursions. Day 1: The cenote was beautiful. The guide's recommendation was spectacular since I was able to swim practically alone for about 45 minutes in the cenote. I would add more time in Valladolid, it seemed beautiful to me and we were only there for 30 minutes. Day 2: Tulum is beautiful. The guide Mari is a genius. I had to go with people who only spoke English but Mari told me to stay next to her so she could translate everything into Spanish for me. A real GENIUS. The visit to the cenote was also very good. Conteúdo da excursão foi excelente. O ponto negativo é que o horário de retirada no hotel foi as 6h45 nos dois dias, ou seja, mais cedo do que a informação da descrição da atividade, por isso não conseguimos tomar o café da manhã no hotel que só iniciaria as 7h (quando organizamos a viagem, estávamos considerando que a retirada no hotel seria no horário indicado na descrição do passeio e reservamos o hotel pensando nisso). The tour content was excellent. The downside is that the hotel pick-up time was 6:45 a.m. on both days, earlier than the information in the activity description, so we were unable to have breakfast at the hotel, which would only start at 7 a.m. (When we organized the trip, we were assuming that the hotel pick-up would be at the time indicated in the tour description and we booked the hotel with that in mind). Todos os dois passeios foram excelentes com uma organização espetacular. No horário estipulado, os transportes para os passeios nos dois dias estavam lá me aguardando, o que demonstra pontualidade. A única logística ruim foi o cenote realizado no primeiro dia que ocorre logo no primeiro horário para logo em seguida ir para Chichén Itza. Both tours were excellent with spectacular organization. At the stipulated time, the transport for the tours on both days was there waiting for me, which demonstrates punctuality.
