Gallipoli Battlefields Tour

After picking you up at your hotel in Çanakkale at the indicated time, we'll head to Eceabat, a small Turkish town located on the Dardanelles Strait. There, we'll start this tour of the Gallipoli battlefields, the site of a terrible battle that involved the death of nearly half a million people from the Ottoman side and troops of the British Empire.

Before the visit, we'll pause in Eceabat for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, we'll move on to the historical site of the Gallipoli battlefields. Once we arrive at our destination, we'll have an introduction to this bloody confrontation that took place in 1915, during World War I.

We'll visit important places such as Beach Cemetery Anzac or Ari Burnu Cemetery while we tell you the stories about the soldiers and their families. We'll also see different memorials, such as the Anzac Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, or Lone Pine Australian Memorial, to continue learning about this chapter of Turkish history.

Next, we'll go to the tunnels and trenches area to continue learning details about this bloody battle. Finally, we'll talk about the monument of the Battle of Chunuk Bair, a battle to gain control of the secondary peak of the Sari Bair mountain range.

After 4.5 hours of touring, we'll drop you back off at your hotel in Çanakkale.
