At the time indicated, we'll pick you up at your hotel in the centre of Can Tho, where we'll jump on the motorbikes that will take us on a tour of the most populated city on the Mekong Delta. Are you ready?
Right from the offset, we'll begin to unravel the customs of 3 of the ethnic communities that coexist in Can Tho: Kinh, Chinese and Khmer. We'll immerse ourselves in the lively atmosphere of the Ninh Kieu Wharf, the epicentre of life in Can Tho. Then, we'll drive to the imposing Can Tho Bridge, which rises over the waters of the Mekong River. It's undoubtedly one of the symbols of the city.
Next, we'll discuss the amazing stories that have taken place in Binh Thuy Ancient House, which stands out for its mix of Eastern and Western architecture. Walking through its corridors is like taking a trip back in time!
After appreciating the historical essence of Can Tho, we'll pause at a cosy coffee shop for a cup of tea. Speaking of this infusion, the last stop of the tour will be the herbal tea factory, where we'll unravel the secrets of local traditions and the process of making this drink.
Finally, we'll put the finishing touch to this 4-hour experience with lunch at a typical restaurant. The menu consists of banh xeo, a kind of Vietnamese crepe that has become one of the star dishes of the Mekong Delta.
With these delicious flavours still in our mouths, we'll travel back to your hotel.
