Campinas Guided Tour
At the scheduled time we'll meet at the Centro de Convivência Cultural de Campinas. From there, we'll start a guided tour of this city in the state of São Paulo. Ready to discover all its attractions and history?
On this tour, we'll make stops at the main monuments of Campinas. Also, we'll be accompanied by a photographer who will teach us some tricks to take amazing pictures during the visit, a very complete tour!
One of our stops will be outside the Carlos Gomes College, inaugurated in 1903. There, we'll learn about the connection of this school with the composer Carlos Gomes, internationally known for the work O Guarani. We'll also pass by another century-old educational institution in Campinas– the Francisco Glicério School.
Continuing the tour through the city center, we'll see the Post and Telegraph Agency and the Palácio dos Azulejos, located at the intersection of two very important streets: Ferreira Penteado and Regente Feijó. During the guided tour of Campinas, we'll also see the facades of the City Hall and pass by two churches, the Cathedral and the church of São Benedito. Also, we'll walk by Largo do Rosário, the Columbia brewery, and the Municipal Market, where you can find stalls selling a wide range of products.
Four hours after the start of the tour, we'll part ways at Estação Cultura.
