Dive into the fascinating world of mycology and join this quad tour to go mushroom picking in Cambara do Sul, the perfect fall activity in Southern Brazil!

Mushroom Picking Tour

We'll meet at the Parador Hotel, where you'll receive a brief orientation on safe riding practices. Then, our mushroom-picking quad tour adventure in Cambara do Sul begins!

Between March and June, Brazil's fall season, the wild fields on the outskirts of Cambara do Sul turn into a mycologist's paradise. During our quad tour, we'll ride through dense forests as we learn how to identify wild porcini mushrooms, one of the main edible mushrooms abundantly found in these woods.

As we arrive at our designated wooded area full of pine trees, we'll hop off our quad bikes and walk amongst the trees, looking for hidden treasures often found along the bottoms of trees. An expert in mycology will accompany us, providing guidance on identifying edible mushrooms, ensuring a worry-free experience for those new to mushroom hunting.

With a full harvest, we'll pack our mushroom baskets on our quad bikes and return to the starting point. As we ride along, we'll learn more fun facts about the rich araucaria forests.

Finally, after 1.5 hours of foresting fun we'll end our quad bike tour at the meeting point.
