Hiking Malacara Canyon
Hiking route highlights
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cambará do Sul and make our way south in a 4x4.
After a quick 40-minute ride, we'll arrive at Serra Geral National Park, where we'll get going on our amazing hiking route along the Malacara Canyon. Our hiking route is 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) in length and takes us along the most spectacular canyons in southern Brazil.
Our hiking route, which has a medium level of difficulty, will show us different species of local plants like bromeliads, fig trees, and cinnamon trees. We'll also observe species of fauna unique to this region, like toucans and thrushes. As we walk along, we'll enjoy a slow pace to really enjoy the lush surroundings and natural beauty.
To wrap up the journey, we'll reach the natural pools nestled within Malacara Canyon. Here, you'll have an hour of free time, to bathe in these crystal-clear waters.
After recharging our batteries, we'll retrace our hiking route towards the national park entrance. Upon arrival, our vehicle will be ready to transport you back to Cambará do Sul, concluding an exhilarating 4 to 5 hours of adventure.
