Asco Valley Jeep Tour
Asco Valley Jeep Tour
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Calvi and hop in the jeeps. We'll head to the Corsica Regional Natural Park, which is one of the most beautiful spots on this French Mediterranean island.
We'll travel through the heart of this protected natural area, in which we'll find the Asco Valley, an extraordinary expanse of land full of deep granite gorges and high peaks. Among its peaks is Monte Cinto which, at 5,600 feet (2,707 metres), is the highest mountain in Corsica.
When the snow that caps Monte Cinto melts, it trickles down into the powerful waters of the Stanciacone torrent. We'll make a 2 hour stop here so you can swim in its famous natural pools. After you've taken a dip, we'll return to the jeeps and travel further inland so you can learn more about Corsica's rich biodiversity.
You might be peckish by this point, so we'll stop at a local restaurant where you can enjoy the exquisite Corsican cuisine on your own. Napoleon Bonaparte's home island has a wide variety of delicious dishes that we're sure you'll love! After lunch, we'll carry on exploring the Asco Valley.
After a fun day of adventure and nature, we'll take you back to your hotel in Calvi where we should arrive at 6 pm.
