We'll meet at the indicated time at Plazoleta Jairo Varela to start this salsa tour in Cali. Who's ready to dance?

In this tour, we'll learn the ins and outs of Afro-Antillean rhythms and discover how salsa made its mark on Colombia during the 20th century. Did you know that many consider Cali to be the salsa capital of the world?

To discover the origins of salsa, we'll go by minibus to the working-class neighborhood of Cali, where we'll find out how these rhythms have become a reference for salsa music worldwide.

Then, we'll visit different viejotecas, meaning 'old clubs,' to experience the most traditional salsa in Cali. There, we'll watch the old-school locals show off their skills, and follow their steps to learn different salsa choreography. You'll be blown away by their impressive moves!

After four and a half hours of being immersed in the world of this joyous dance, we'll end the tour at the last locale we visit.

El tour de salsa de Ritmos de Colombia es IMPERDIBLE!!! El amor y la pasión que Susanna tiene por la salsa, su historia, Cali y su gente se siente y vive en cada parada y cada interacción.
