On this Comuna 20 tour, you'll discover Cali's most authentic and modest side. We'll learn how the city's western neighbourhoods have evolved, from problems that come from the past to challenges for the future.

Description

We'll meet at the time indicated at Terminal Cañaveralejo and we'll head to one of the MIO Cable stations, a cable car that will take us up to Comuna 20. Ready to discover the most authentic atmosphere in Cali? Let's go!

First, we'll start by walking through neighbourhoods of humble beginnings, discovering how this area has evolved over the years. We'll uncover the other side of Cali's comunas admiring its street art and visiting viewpoints that will surprise you.

Of course, we'll also talk about the stigmatisation that the neighbourhoods in Comuna 20 have suffered due to waves of violence in the past. We'll retrace this sad past by visiting a cultural centre.

We'll walk a total of 3 kilometres (1.9 miles) and take a short break to enjoy a plate of street food, accompanied by water, juice or beer. A total cultural immersion!

Finally, we'll get back on the MIO Cable and end our tour at the initial starting point after a three-hour route.

This is an absolute must if you come to Cali. This was an out of this world experience. This tour was an absolute breathtaking experience. We travelled to the top of the communa by cable car and hiking, and had a view of Cali that you will only get if you book this tour. This one will not be a let down or a waste of time. I felt completely safe and comfortable the whole duration of this tour.
