Cali Artisan and Alameda Gallery Tour
Cali Artisan and Alameda Gallery Tour
After picking you up from your hotel in Cali, we will go to Alameda Gallery, the city's most famous traditional market.
Cali is located in the Cauca Valley, a beautiful region with one of the most varied gastronomies in Colombia. The abundant agricultural wealth of the region can be seen in the local markets where farmers go to sell their products.
Alameda market began in the 1950s, and since then it has become an important point of commerce and gastronomy in the Cauca Valley. Its stalls sell fruit, vegetables, and meat, but also typical dishes of Cali's cuisine.
Strolling through the stalls of the Alameda Gallery you will discover the most authentic aromas and flavors of Colombia. The shopkeepers will give you a taste of the exotic fruits and vegetables as you learn all about the traditions of the rural population.
During the market tour, you will enjoy a fruit-based snack or a cholado, a mixed fruit salad served with ice and condensed milk.
We will finish this fantastic tour of the Alameda Gallery at 1 pm.
