Whale + Dolphin Spotting Cruise in Calheta
Whale + Dolphin Spotting Cruise in Calheta
Meet us at Calheta Recreational Port, where we'll kick off our exciting seaside adventure. Let's set sail along the waters of Madeira in search of marine life that calls this area home!
We'll board a yacht that will take us through the calm waters of Calheta, allowing us to spot various marine species living on the western side of the island of Madeira. Throughout the cruise, we'll be able to take in the full beauty of the coastline as our knowledgeable guide shares insights into the marine life native to the area.
With luck on our side, we'll be able to spot dolphins, whales, and even sea turtles in their natural habitat as they swim in the Atlantic Ocean. In fact, Madeira is one of the best places to spot these special cetaceans. To enhance our experience, we'll give you some snorkelling gear, and then it's time to see the underwater beauty of Madeira.
Then, we'll climb back aboard our shop and head back to the starting point. As we head back to port, be sure to soak up the sprawling landscapes of the coastline!
After 2.5 hours exploring the sea, we'll reach Calheta Recreational Port and bring our experience to an end.
