Description

At the indicated time we'll start this free tour of Calgary from the foot of the The Edison. Are you ready to discover the most important city in the province of Alberta?

After a brief introduction to this fascinating town, located to the east of the imposing Rocky Mountains, we'll start our tour with a stroll along the city's main artery, Stephen Avenue. As we stroll, we'll find out about the most popular restaurants and shops along this long boulevard.

Next, we'll head into Downtown Calgary. In this area, we'll pass iconic landmarks such as the Olympic Plaza and stop by the great Central Library. Did you know that this library is one of the city's main cultural landmarks?

In the Downtown area, we'll also learn about the history of emblematic venues such as King Eddy, a symbol of live music! We'll continue our tour by heading to the East Village district. There, on the banks of the Bow River, we'll see Fort Calgary and learn about the events this important stronghold witnessed.

After 3 hours of sightseeing, we'll conclude this free tour of Calgary by returning to the meeting point.
