Green Island Excursion
Options
When booking, you can choose between two options. Both start at Reef Fleet Terminal and include an English-speaking guide and the snorkel equipment rental. Below, you can see the particularities of each one:
4-hour tour
At the port of Cairns, we'll board a speedboat and make our way to Green Island, about an hour away. Once we reach this piece of Australian paradise, you'll have some free time to walk through the rainforest and explore the white sandy beaches of this island, part of the iconic Great Barrier Reef National Park.
As an added bonus, you can choose between two different activities: snorkeling in the crystal clear waters or a half-hour ride on a semi-submarine where you can discover the coral reef and marine biodiversity of Green Island without ever getting wet.
Finally, we'll return by speedboat to Cairns and the tour will end.
7.5-hour tour
For an even more complete experience at Green Island, this option is perfect. Setting sail from Cairns pier on a catamaran, you'll arrive at Green Island with five hours of free time to explore at your own pace. You can choose between a two-hour snorkeling session or a half-hour semi-submarine boat ride.
To top off your adventure, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch aboard the catamaran. After spending a fulfilling seven and a half hours, we'll head back to our starting point in Cairns.
