Introduction to Diving in the Great Barrier Reef
Introduction to Diving in the Great Barrier Reef
Between 7.15 and 7.45 am, we'll meet at Spence Street in Cairns, where we'll board a boat and sail to a platform on the Great Barrier Reef. Let our underwater adventure begin!
Once we arrive, you'll have two and a half hours of free time to snorkel at your own leisure and enjoy the Australian Great Barrier Reef. After this first glimpse of one of the most spectacular seabeds in the world, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch on board the ship.
At 1 pm, we'll sail to the second location of the day, where we'll make our dive. We'll follow the guide's instructions, who will be explaining the basic techniques to get the most out of the diving experience.
During the dive, we'll enjoy the Great Barrier Reef and we'll be able to spot clownfish, turtles, and reef sharks, and admire the famous corals of the area. It will be an unforgettable moment!
Lastly, we'll return to the boat and sail back to the starting point as we toast with a glass of wine. The excursion will end between 4.15 and 4.30 pm.
