Description
After an early pickup at the agreed meeting point in Busan, we'll head to Oedo Island. Let's go!
Then, we'll head south to Windy Hill, one of the most beautiful landscapes on the Korean peninsula. The historic windmill and its picturesque setting have appeared in various hit South Korean films.
Next, we'll go to the Dojangpo ferry terminal to head towards the island of Oedo. During the brief ferry journey, you'll enjoy some unique views of the dramatic landscapes of Haeguemgang island, where the sea dramatically crashes into the steep rocks.
Once we arrive on Oedo Island, we'll visit its botanical garden, full of native flowers and trees which give the island an unrivaled palette. We'll also visit the Garden of Venus, which resembles Versailles, complete with western style sculptures. The garden is also surrounded on all sides by the beautiful landscapes. The viewpoints here give you fantastic views across the coast which you can capture forever on your camera.
Before we leave the island, we'll climb up the Stairway to Heaven, which became famous in South Korea after it appeared in a popular soap opera. These garden steps will reward you with a spectacular view when you reach the summit.
After the visit, we'll give you some free time to enjoy lunch at any of the local restaurants offering many traditional dishes typical of South Korean cuisine.
Having satisfied your appetites, we'll proceed to the Geoje cable car for a scenic 15-minute journey covering a distance of 1.5 kilometers (0.9 miles). During this enchanting ride, you'll be treated to privileged views of Mt. Noja and the Southern Sea, ensuring a captivating experience that will leave a lasting impression.
After finishing our Geoje cable car ride, we'll begin our return to Busan.
Between 6 and 7 pm, we'll arrive back at the starting point in Busan.
