When booking your visit to the Viña Santa Rita Winery, you'll be able to choose from the two options shown below. Both tours start from the Tourism House.
Classic Tour (1 hour)
This option includes a visit to the Viña Santa Rita Winery. During the tour, we'll explore the vineyards and visit the winery's outside area while discussing the different stages of winemaking, aging, and bottling.
In addition, we'll visit the winery of the 120 Chilean Patriots. Here, we'll learn about the fascinating story of the heroes to which this name refers.
Our visit will be rounded off by a tasting of two Reserva wines and a Gran Reserva wine from Viña Santa Rita. After the tasting, you'll be given an engraved glass as a gift.
Selection Tour (75 minutes)
During the Selection Tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore both Viña Santa Rita and Bodega de los Patriotas wineries. This immersive experience includes a tasting of four exceptional wines, including two Gran Reserva and two Ultra Premium varieties. To complement the wines, you'll also savor a delicious cheese and crackers platter. And, as a special memento, you'll receive a carved wine glass to take home as a gift.
Premium Tour (1 hour 30 minutes)
The Premium Tour option includes a tour of the winery of the 120 Chilean Patriots. We'll also visit some of the complex's other facilities, such as the centenary park, the neo-gothic chapel, and the Roman-style baths that were built in the 19th century. Due to its significance and heritage, this entire complex has been declared a National Historic Monument.
Afterwards, we'll taste some Chilean wines. We'll try three Ultra Premium Santa Rita wines paired with cheeses, dried fruits, and crackers. You'll also receive a wooden cheese board as a gift.
Schedule
The tours described above have different schedules, which are as follows:
- Classic Tour: Visits at 10 am, 2:30 pm
- Select Tour: Visits at 11:30 am, 4:15 pm
- Premium Tour: Visits at 9:45 am, 11:30 am, 2:15 pm, and 4 pm
When making your reservation, you'll need to select the time at which you'd like to do your chosen visit. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early on the day of the activity.
