After meeting at Torre Monumental at the designated time, we'll begin this tour of the Mugica neighbourhood, also known as Barrio 31, to explore its most artistic side. Get ready for a colourful journey!
How did the street art movement begin in this neighbourhood? What is significant about its murals? Who are its artists? We'll answer all your questions while we wander through the streets, surrounded by the traditional houses of this Latin American neighbourhood. We'll immerse ourselves in Mugica's atmosphere while we search for one of the most famous graffiti paintings in the district: the one of Diego Maradona.
We'll learn about how each spray of graffiti tells the story of everyday life for Mugica's residents. Their beliefs, customs, and identity are reflected in all these artworks, which depict geometric figures, faces, labour, local literature, and even football. You'll even get to meet young artists!
Lastly, after a total of 2 hours, this tour of Mugica's street art will come to an end.
