Tour Details

Welcome to the elegant Recoleta neighbourhood! At the indicated time, we'll meet at the plazoleta Carlos Pellegrini, where we'll start discovering this iconic neighbourhood.

Throughout the route, we won't only talk about the achitecture, but also about the history that led it to become the most prestigious neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. We'll tell you all about the aristocratic class of Buenos Aires and the reasons behind the construction of its imposing buildings. We'll cross Alvear Avenue, where the French Embassy and the Brazilian Embassy are located, two buildings that reflect the French influence in Buenos Aires architecture.

We'll pass through the block of the three palaces, highlighting their three artistic styles, until we reach the luxurious Hotel Alvear, an authentic reflection of the splendour of the illustrious figures who stayed there. Then, we'll continue to the Pilar Church and the iconic Recoleta Cemetery, where great figures from Argentinean history are buried. We'll cross Plaza Francia to get to the Law Faculty of the UBA, a symbol of knowledge in the city.

From the bridge of the faculty, we'll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Floralis Genérica, the monumental metal sculpture that has become a symbol of innovation in Buenos Aires. Our tour will continue to the National Museum of Fine Arts, known for its vast collection of local and international art.

Finally, at this last point, we'll say goodbye after approximately 2 hours of activity.
