El Querandi
Established in 1920 as a bar, El Querandi underwent restoration in 1992 and is housed within a historic mansion dating back to 1867.
With a seating capacity of 190 people, each table at El Querandi is privately set, adding an extra touch of romance to its inviting decor.
The show
The show “Nuestro Tango” tells the story of Tango, its key performers and events from 1860 to the present day, and its tradition in Buenos Aires. Four dancing couples, two singers and an acoustic quartet – piano, bandoneon, violin, and double bass – make it an unforgettable evening. The show lasts for approximately 75 minutes and is divided into five parts. Also, this option includes an open bar.
You have the option of reserving just the show or with dinner included.
Dinner with or without a wine pairing
How can you improve an already amazing Tango show? Easy, add a delicious dinner!
The menu consists of different cold and hot appetizers and a choice between 20 main dishes including white and red meats, pork, fish and pasta. The dinner will be accompanied by wine from the Finca Flichman vineyard, soft drinks, mineral water, coffee or tea.
A wine-pairing dinner option will also be available, which will include a menu made exclusively to pair with a regional wine that will be chosen with the help of a sommelier. This dinner lasts 1 hour.
We'll enjoy a tasting of 3 different wines as we enjoy images of Argentina's wine industry. The wine will be accompanied by regional appetizers.
The wine tasting lasts 1 hour and will start at 5 pm or 7 pm, depending on the option booked.
- Show: Pickup between 8:45 and 9:15 pm at hotels in Palermo and between 9 and 9:30 pm at hotels in central Buenos Aires
- Wine tasting: at 7 pm
- Dinner with wine pairing and show: Pickup between 7:30 and 8 pm at hotels in Palermo and between 8 and 8:30 pm at hotels in central Buenos Aires
Wine tasting and dinners are only available from Tuesdays to Saturdays.
Pickup
Transfers depend on the option you choose:
- Show only without transfers: does not include any kind of transport.
- Show only with return transfer: includes hotel pickup and return transfer.
- Dinner and show with return transfer: includes hotel pickup and return transport.
- Wine tasting + Dinner + Show: hotel pickup is not included. Only the return transfer is included. We'll depart back from El Querandi at 11:30 pm, after the end of the show.
- Dinner with wine pairing + Show with return transfer: includes hotel pickup and return transfer.
- Wine tasting + Dinner with food and wine pairing + Show + Return transfer: hotel pickup and drop-off are not included. Only the return transfer is included. We'll depart from El Querandi at 11:30 pm, after the end of the show.
Please keep in mind that pickup will only be available from the areas of Centro, Microcentro, Recoleta and Palermo.
