Enzo was a great guide! Super thorough and knowledgeable on the history and the current state of the city/country. The tour was on a hot day and he tried his best to find shady spots to stop at so we wouldn't he in the sun as he talked to us. At the end he offered to give us additional recommendations on anything else we wanted to do/eat, etc. He even walked me to the subte station and showed me how to get to where I was trying to go. Super awesome!

Tour Details

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Juana Azurduy Monument, in front of the Palacio Libertad Domingo F. Sarmiento Cultural Center. From there, we'll set off on our free walking tour through Puerto Madero, one of the most exclusive, luxurious, and pleasant neighborhoods in Buenos Aires.

The first stop will be in front of the Fragata A.R.A. Presidente Sarmiento, Argentina's first modern training ship. This ship is currently moored at Dique III and has been turned into a museum. Next, we'll cross the Puente de La Mujer, the most iconic image of the Puerto Madero district. Don't forget your cameras!

We'll continue our free tour by passing by the Anne Frank Monument and walking down Juana Manso Street, where we'll see the most prominent hotels and residences in the country. Among them, the Alvear Tower stands out, the tallest building in Argentina at 235 meters (770 feet) tall. Then we'll go to the Argentine Women's Park, a beautiful green space that pays tribute to the great Argentine women!

The route will then take us past the old building of the Munich Brewery and the Monument to the Naval Prefecture. Then, we'll cross to the Costanera, where those who wish can buy a delicious local choripán at one of the street stalls. Yum!

The next stop will be at the Ecological Reserve of Costanera Sur, where we'll take a pleasant stroll until we reach the river. The free tour will come to an end here after a total of 2 hours.
