La Boca Free Tour
La Boca Free Tour
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at Av. Don Pedro de Mendoza 1929 to begin this exciting tour of the neighbourhood of La Boca in Buenos Aires. Ready for a culturally enriching experience around this area of the Argentine Capital?
Unsurprisingly, the area of La Boca is a magnet for tourists coming to visit Buenos Aires. At the heart of this bustling area lies Caminitio, a lively passageway that stretches along the banks of the Riachuelo. This colourful alley, which has been transformed into a living canvas by renowned artists like Quienquela Martín, is both a local and international icon. However, La Boca offers more than just the Caminito.
We'll also explore the imposing Benito Quinquela Martín Museum, which showcases the works of the neighbourhood's most beloved artist. Soak up the atmosphere as wander through spots like the Vuelta de Rocha, and pay a visit to the PROA foundation, where modern art meets historic architecture.
No visit to La Boca would be complete however without experiencing its sporting fervour. For this, we'll make our way to the legendary Bombonera Stadium, where we'll feel the energy and excitement of the Boca Junior's passionate fans firsthand. In addition, we'll also pay homage to the heroic volunteer fire station, a symbol in this community of resilience and unity.
Finally, after 2 hours together with 2 passionate local guides, this tour of the La Boca neighbourhood will come to an end.
