Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet in Plaza Italia, next to the Garibaldi Monument. Here, we'll begin this free tour of Palermo, one of the most beautiful and extensive neighborhoods in Buenos Aires!

As we walk, we'll see the charming tree-lined avenues and elegant houses that are so characteristic of this neighborhood. First, we'll visit one of the main attractions of the Palermo neighborhood: the Carlos Thays Botanical Garden, a beautiful green space of 7 hectares that houses numerous plant species.

Then, we'll tour the Ecopark, an important center for the conservation of endangered species. Here we'll learn about ecosystems, Argentina's biodiversity, and environmental education. Next, we'll explore the Plaza Intendente Seeber, a tree-lined space with a stone pergola, deer sculptures, and a statue of General Juan Manuel de Rosas!

The tour will then continue to the famous Monument to the Magna Carta and the Four Regions of Argentina, which was donated by Spain to commemorate the country's centennial in 1910. Did you know that it's popularly known as the "Monument of the Spaniards"?

We'll then head to the Garden of the Poets, where we'll get lost among the busts in homage to famous writers such as Alfonsina Storni, Jorge Luis Borges, and Dante Alighieri. Afterward, we'll visit the Rose Garden to admire more than 1,800 roses and the Andalusian Patio, which was a donation from the City Council of Seville.

Finally, we'll pass by the Urquiza Monument and see the Galileo Galilei Planetarium. Here, we'll finish this free tour of the Palermo neighborhood after almost 2.5 hours of sightseeing.
